Mackenzie

I had the great fortune to photograph Michele and Steve once again.  This time it wasn't their wedding, it was a session with their newest family member - Mackenzie.   How could she be anything but beautiful with those parents.  It was a bit of a dreary day but Mackenzie, Michele, and Steve were real troopers as we headed to one of the most sentimental places for them - the Point.  This is where Steve proposed to Michele and where we did their engagement session as well so it was only fitting that we returned there with their daughter.  What a great family you have - thank you for letting me share in it :)

Jianine & Steve

It was a dark and stormy day.  The winds were whipping and the waves were crashing.  Then came Jianine and Steve.  With smiles big enough to light up the sky and enough model edginess to add to the intense mood of the day, these two are a perfect fit!  I had such a great time trying out new locations to photograph these two - who knew the train station could be so much fun.  Thank you Jianine and Steve for sharing yourselves (and your dogs) with me.  I can't wait for your wedding day!

Melissa and Andrew

Where do I even begin???    Melissa and Andrew are getting married in Rhode Island next September and I can't believe I have to wait that long to photograph them again.   I had such an amazing time with them tooling around Branford and capturing their inner sense of complete silliness.  These two are just plain fun.  Please check out Andrews monkey face that got us rolling in laughter so much so that we became parched and had to stop for a drink :)   Thank you thank you thank you Melissa and Andrew for sharing your vogue spice and gq with me and for making my job so great!

Liz & Pete

Liz and Pete will be getting married this February so, of course, we had to get in some beach time for their session since they may not have quite the same weather on their big day.  These two are so laid back and happy together, it will make photographing them on the wedding day that much more fun.  I can't wait to see those great smiles again!

Elisabeth & Michael

I had the privilege to photograph two of the sweetest people the other day.  Meet Elisabeth and Michael - they are getting married next September and if their engagement session is any indication of how the wedding day is going to be - it will be wonderful!

Say a Little Prayer

You may remember Sean and Jackie from their August 9, 2008 slideshow.  I am asking all of you to keep them in your prayers as Sean left for Iraq yesterday.  We wish you well Sean as you fight for our Country.  Thank you and stay well.

Chillin' at the Beach

Literally.  Chillin' .  We had a great time at the beach and, although it was cold and windy,  Matt and Cathy's great family took one for the team and headed out for some play time in the sand.  Cold is ok - wind is just plain obnoxious.  Still it is always great to be outdoors with such a great group.

Tucker

I present to you the next Brad Pitt!  No I was not shooting an ad for JCrew or GQ, this was a fall session of Tucker.  It just seems like he's ready to model.  Not only is he adorable but check out that laugh.  We were hysterical.  I just wish I had a video camera playing behind me to catch his mother in the act of being completely silly.

The Beauty of Fall

Steve and Martha have such a great family.   We went to the river in Guilford for this session and the landscape was just perfect.  This is definitely my favorite time of year.  All the colors are so vibrant and the air is so crisp.   These are the best days for out door sessions...and so begins the kick off to holiday cards and gifts :)

Sarah & Bill

I'm quite excited to be photographing Sarah and Bill's wedding in less than two weeks.  These two are just naturally comfortable and in love with each other which of course, makes my job so much easier.  We ventured to Sleeping Giant State Park for their engagement session because this was the magical place where Bill proposed to Sarah.  We had a great time getting to know each other and getting to know new areas of the park.  Sarah and Bill, I can't wait for your wedding!

Emily & Matt

Wow!  wow! wow!  ok  you get the point.  Emily was so gorgeous and elegant on her wedding day I thought I was with royalty and Matt was a perfect match to her beauty.   The love between these two was immeasurable.   Thank you both for letting Cindy and I share in your wedding day.  It was spectacular and the setting at Wadsworth Mansion was ideal for the reception.  After a perfect day, Emily and Matt treated their guests to an incredible first and second dance.  We may be seeing these two on Dancing with the Stars soon.  I could watch them salsa all night.  If you would like to see more of their wedding day, click here for the slideshow.  Enjoy!

Jenn & Pete

Thank you to Jenn and Pete for welcoming David and I into your wonderful circle of family and friends.  We  had such a great time photographing your wedding.  I don't think I've ever  encountered a group as "high energy" as this one.  A ton of laughs, a ton of smiles, and a ton of love.  You two are going to have an incredible life together, complete with hunting, fishing, and lots of great times.  You're both very special to me.  Let's keep this friendship going :)   The reception was completely wild and completely wonderful due to the great job of Scott at the Woodwinds and Billy of Local Motion.   If you would like to see more of their day, click here for the slideshow.  Enjoy!
