Brian, Amy & Brian

Can you tell by the smiles that I was with one of the happiest families around?   They are as nice as they are good looking too.  Thank you Brian, Amy, and especially little Brian for inviting me along for some fun on the beach.  It was my pleasure to capture your joy!

Aliza

As I pulled into the driveway of Vinny and Wendy's home, I looked around and smiled.  I was like a kid in a candy store.  So many wonderful photo ops and then it got even better - there was little Aliza waiting for me, as beautiful as ever, in her pink dress.    So many smiles and so much fun.  I just had to share with you a little piece of our session.

The Ladies of PENNACHE

I had the privilege of photographing Gina and her great staff of  Pennache which is a new salon here in Branford located near Lenny's Restaurant.  This is such a great group of women you just have to go down and meet them.  I go there, not just for the wonderful haircuts (you noticed), but for the comedy relief.  Tracy keeps me laughing the entire time that I'm there and sometimes that can be awhile because we tend to talk allllottt!!    I had a blast photographing them as they gave me sweet beachy looks and edgy brick looks.  They can do it all.  Thank you to Gina, Jean, Tracey, Maria, Francheska, and Jessica for such a great time.

Allison & Geoff

She had a smile from ear to ear that lasted the entire day.  Surrounded by her family and friends Allison began her journey down the aisle to begin her life with her soulmate Geoff.  There was so much love and laughter in the air you couldn't help but smile too.  The day was perfect!  The Owenego was such a fantastic place for your wedding, surrounding you with sand and water - the two things you love.   Your family, friends, and bridal party were all awesome.  Many of you may recognize the maid of honor - yes that's Cindy who is normally assisting me at weddings but, once again, she chose to party instead.  Thank you Lori for helping me out with this one.  To enjoy more of Allison and Geoffs wedding - click here.  Enjoy!

Isa & Tina

Isa came in to be photographed, per his mothers request, prior to heading off to India for, I believe, a year.  Fortunately he brought his girlfriend Tina with him (for support).  Of course, I had to get her in some shots  so Isa could carry with him the memories of this time with her.  Call me sentimental but photos are the best way to capture a moment that can stay with us for a lifetime.  We had a great time together and I wish you well Isa in your studies.  I'm sure you'll do great!

The Anniversary of my 24th birthday

It has been an awesome birthday so far thanks to a wonderful Aunt who took me to New York yesterday for a great lunch at Becco's and to see In the Heights - if anyone hasn't seen this yet you're missing out.  Great music - each voice was better than the next.  Anyway, today ( the birthday)  is, as I like to refer to it, "spoil me rotten" day.  Hair, pedicure, and facial - all the elements of an extremely relaxing day.   Sorry,  if anyones looking for me -  I'm off being pampered.  Wheeeeeee!

Elena & Andrew

Last week-end I was once again fortunate to be in an awesome location on a beautiful August day photographing a gorgeous couple in love.  Cindy and I headed off to Westchester county to the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club for a fantastic out door wedding on the water.
When I first caught a glimpse of Elena I was stunned by how beautiful she looked.   I knew then that Andy was a goner.  As she came through the hallway to see Andy for the first time on their wedding day, the look in his eyes told everyone how much he loves her.  Smiles quickly spread through the entire place and never left.  Thank you Elena and Andy for asking me to be a part of such a great day!
If you would like to see more of their day, click here for the slideshow.  Enjoy!

A day at the beach ...

What better way to spend a holiday than together as a family getting your photo taken?  great beach, great weather, and above all, great family.  Thanks to Ilissa and Eric for bringing their family here to Branford for some fun in the sun.  There's nothing better than capturing the bonds between siblings, parents, grandparents, and even uncles, especially when they are up for anything.  Ilissa, I hope your ok after your karate move into the water - way to take one for the team :)   You have such an awesome family - thanks for sharing them with me.
