Julia

It seems like just yesterday that I was photographing Kevin and Abigail for their engagement session.  It's amazing how quickly the years pass and here I am now photographing their incredibly beautiful daughter Julia!  She is just the cutest!!  She had a few wardrobe changes throughout the session, at times donning different hats that her Grandmother had knitted for her.  I'll tell you, if anyone is looking for gorgeous baby clothes, you need to get in touch with Julia's Mother - she has such creative talent!  Each hat was cuter than the next.

Julia, you are going to have such a great life - you have two of the kindest and most laid back parents around  :)

Renee & Joe

As the story goes, Renee and Joe met when they were sixteen at the local ice rink.  She worked in the snack bar and he worked in the Pro Shop.  One day after telling her brother about the cute new guy who worked in the Pro Shop, Renee's brother decided to yell out at one of the games "Hey Renee, Joey is #19!"    Sometime after, Joe decided to ask Renee out to a football game at her high school.  Eleven years later they are still going strong and planning on making it "official" with their wedding on June 27, 2009.  It was only fitting that we do their engagement session in the snow and especially - on the ice!  Such a blast!  Renee and Joe I can not wait for your wedding day.  Thank you for sharing your story with me :)

Ethan & Tyler

I had the chance to hang out with two of the cutest boys around.  I introduce you to Ethan and Tyler, brothers who clearly have a blast being together.  We stayed warm and toasty inside and watched the snow beyond the window.  How could I even call this work?!?!  Smiles, hugs, and giggles (I wish I had a camera to see what their Grandmother was doing behind me to create those smiles).  Such fun!

Collin & Alicia - Just Because

I love to photograph people for no other reason than "just because".    There are many times that call for photography to step in.  A wedding.  A birth.  An engagement.  You get the picture.  There are other instances when there is no reason other than taking time out of your very busy life to capture what is precious "just because".  This was the case with Alicia and Collin.  This was their moment.  They have such an incredible connection that it was a pleasure to spend some quality time with just the two of them.   The way they laugh together warmed up even the 10 degree temperature that it was when we did their session.   Thank you thank you thank Collin and Alicia for letting me hang out with you.  You are truly the best!

SPENCER

And the year just keeps getting better ;)    When you start the year off with a session of a gorgeous, kind, funny, and all around great guy - it's all good!  Yes, it's cold out but who cares, bundle up, get outside.  It's New England and it's perfect!  Thank you Spencer for being such a trooper.  You're the best!  

OUR NEW LOGO

To begin the New Year, I introduce you to our first change - our new logo.  We had a company design this icon based on putting the two C's of my name around a shutter to make for a compact icon that we could put on all sorts of producty things.  This one is fun because I can also change the colors around depending on what it's going on.  Of course, now my family has to don their new baseball hats and test it all out for me.   Enjoy, and again I say - stay tuned...

Let's get it started!!

Oh yeah!  2009 - incredible!   Although I'm sorry to see 2008 close out, I am completely looking forward to what this new year has in store for me.   Huge reflection time on my end  ....  I'm not sure you want to go there with me so let me just sum it up in a few words  ...  LIFE IS GOOD!     I can't believe how many incredible people I got to meet this past year.  There are so many kind, generous, thoughtful, and sometimes bratty (you know who you are) people who have come into my life that I feel so energized to begin this new year on such a high note.

I'm thinking up all sorts of big plans for the business for '09  so stay tuned...I think you're going to love them.
